Growing Green Recycle Fest on July 28 allows residents convenient, responsible disposal

Growing Green Recycle Fest

The Third Annual Growing Green Recycle Fest takes place on Saturday, July 28, from 8 a.m. to noon, in downtown Park Forest at the corner of Main Street and Cunningham Drive. The annual event allows Park Forest residents to dispose of a multitude of items in one convenient location. The event features:

o Television disposal: $20 per TV
o Document shredding limited to 3 banker’s boxes per vehicle
o Electronics Disposal: accepted by AM Greentek
o Eye Glasses Disposal: accepted by Environment Commission
o Plastic Bags Disposal: accepted by Environment Commission o Used Clothing and Shoe Disposal: accepted by USAgain
o Drug Disposal at Police Department drop box.
