She comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge in a variety of settings, but children and seniors are her passion. The new Community Health Coordinator will make weekly visits to meet with residents living in the area senior buildings, be a resource for health information for the community, planning programs and seminars that promote healthy lifestyles, oversee the annual farmers market, medical equipment loan closet and health inspections for the village.“I am excited to begin my new journey within the village, assisting the community to live healthier lives in the future”. “Stop by and say hello soon”.

There are healthy ways to cope with the pain that, in time, can ease your sadness and help you come to terms with your loss, find new meaning, and move on with your life.
Join the Park Forest Senior Citizens Advisory Commission and guest speaker from Journey Care on September 11th at noon to discuss “Understanding Grief”. This discussion will include suicide and depression.
